Staying punk

Whilst at times it seems like almost any personal decision to live responsibly is almost incomprehensible in Japan, veganism is both the most understandably alien and one of the most curious to Japanese people. The only Japanese poeple who are familiar with the concept tend to be the ones interested or involved in punk rock, and by their own admission these people often still go on to become Salarymen, which is hardly the most counter-cultural role.

There are many things that are normal to me which have become much harder in Japan. But they're never been easy, so i'm not giving up now.
